At it's highest, my x10 inventory consisted of the following components. However, I was plagued with x10 reliability issues and have since migrated to Insteon
|RR501||1||This converts the x10 radio frequency from wireless components into the power line format. The RR501 is a better behaved device than the TM751 but apparently completely compatible|
|HR12A||1||A wireless controller, transmits to the RR501, it has 2 buttons for each unit code, and a dial that selects the house code.|
|KR19A||1||This is a two unit remote, it is sized to fit on your keys and is no bigger than your car "plip"|
|CM11A||1||Computer bi-directional serial interface.|
|4816A2||1||This is a plug in signal coupler, coupling the two power phases found in most US homes. If you are serious about x10, you will need a device similar to this as you will find approximatly 50% of your house can't see the other 50%.|
|LM465||1||A plug in lamp module. Useful for control over temporary items. I last used it for the lights on the christmas tree, it was very useful in that I didn't need to grovel on the floor each time I needed to change the state of the christmas lights.|
|XPDF||1||Inline lamp module - this device resides in the cup of the fan, it controls the lamp kit on the underside of the fan, as it is a dimmer module, it is not OK to use a compact flourescent in this lamp, however as device this is in my home theatre, I want the light to be dimmable.|
|XPFM||1||Inline appliance module - this device resides in the cup of the fan, it controls the lamp kit on the underside of the fan, as it is not a dimmer module, it is OK to use a compact flourescent in this lamp|
|WS12A||2||Dimmable rocker switches - this switch is a direct replacement for a regular switches, it adds x10 control to whatever the switch controls|
|XPS3||1||Non Dimmable rocker switches - this switch replaces your regular switch and is suitable for all loads (WS12A is only good for incandescent lights)|
